Doreen Rademacher is the Director of Product Development for My Rewards. Doreen specializes in assisting financial institutions to improve profitability by attracting core deposit relationships and enhancing the value of each with successful acquisition, and on-boarding strategies. She also heads the organization’s merchant rewards effort.
Prior to joining My Rewards in 2007, Doreen spent 18 years with Independent Bank Corporation, a $3 billion bank holding company headquartered in Michigan. Initially hired as the Director of Marketing, Doreen gained expertise in investor, media and community relations, strategic planning, database management, direct marketing and was responsible for product development, including the introduction of debit cards to the institution and its customer base.
In 1996, Doreen became Vice President of Retail Sales and Service and was responsible for successfully developing the company’s strategy for account acquisition, cross selling, branch incentives and non-interest income growth. During her final year with the bank, Doreen screened several debit reward programs and ultimately tapped My Rewards for the job.
Doreen holds a Bachelor of Applied Arts degree in Journalism from Central Michigan University. She graduated with top honors from the Robert M. Perry School of Banking at Central Michigan University, earning a seat on the school’s Board of Trustees and the Prochnow Educational Foundation Scholarship to attend the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin in Madison. Doreen was invited to return to the Perry School as a Marketing Instructor. Over the course of her banking career, Doreen was very active with the Michigan Banker’s Association and is a past chair of its marketing committee.
Doreen resides in Belmont, MI with her husband and two daughters. She enjoys golf, volleyball and other outdoor activities. |
